Web-Based Parent Training With Telephone Coaching Aimed at Treating Child Disruptive Behaviors in a Clinical Setting During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Single-Group Study With 2-Year Follow-Up

Web-Based Parent Training With Telephone Coaching Aimed at Treating Child Disruptive Behaviors in a Clinical Setting During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Single-Group Study With 2-Year Follow-Up

The Finnish Strongest Families Smart Website (SFSW) intervention is an 11-week program that includes parent training delivered through a digital platform and assisted by weekly telephone coaching. Previously, we conducted an RCT, screening families at regular health checkups for 4-year-old children. Children who had parent-reported high levels of disruptive behavior were screened for targeted SFSW intervention.

Exploring the Qualitative Experiences of Administering and Participating in Remote Research via Telephone Using the Montreal Cognitive Assessment-Blind: Cross-Sectional Study of Older Adults

Exploring the Qualitative Experiences of Administering and Participating in Remote Research via Telephone Using the Montreal Cognitive Assessment-Blind: Cross-Sectional Study of Older Adults

As such, we administered the Mo CA [4] adapted for people with vision impairment (Mo CA-Blind [5]) via the telephone. We chose the Mo CA-Blind, given evidence that the telephone is a widely available device among older adults [6]. To supplement the capturing of this practice, we explored experiences and preferences related to general telephone use through a closed-ended questionnaire.

Talk Time Differences Between Interregional and Intraregional Calls to a Crisis Helpline: Statistical Analysis

Talk Time Differences Between Interregional and Intraregional Calls to a Crisis Helpline: Statistical Analysis

Most calls were made from a mobile telephone and it was not possible to determine the location from where these calls were made. Therefore, findings from this study may not be generalizable to all callers who contact crisis helplines as the analysis was limited to landline callers only. In addition, calls in Wales to the Welsh language line were not explored during this study.

Testing the Efficacy of a Scalable Telephone-Delivered Guided Imagery Tobacco Cessation Treatment: Protocol for a Randomized Clinical Trial

Testing the Efficacy of a Scalable Telephone-Delivered Guided Imagery Tobacco Cessation Treatment: Protocol for a Randomized Clinical Trial

In addition, we are proposing to deliver a GI intervention in a low-cost highly scalable way (ie, by telephone). To date, no studies have established the efficacy of an integrative GI tobacco cessation treatment delivered by telephone. Several meta-analytic reviews have shown that proactive telephone-based tobacco cessation services are an effective way to deliver treatment for tobacco dependence [13-15].

Factors Influencing How Providers Assess the Appropriateness of Video Visits: Interview Study With Primary and Specialty Health Care Providers

Factors Influencing How Providers Assess the Appropriateness of Video Visits: Interview Study With Primary and Specialty Health Care Providers

The COVID-19 pandemic spurred rapid and widespread implementation of virtual care, including both video- and telephone-based visits, to address acute and chronic needs of patients. Many welcomed the availability of virtual care given benefits such as increased access to care, less travel time for patients, and often lower costs for both patients and health care systems [1].

Comparing SF-36 Scores Collected Through Web-Based Questionnaire Self-completions and Telephone Interviews: An Ancillary Study of the SENTIPAT Multicenter Randomized Controlled Trial

Comparing SF-36 Scores Collected Through Web-Based Questionnaire Self-completions and Telephone Interviews: An Ancillary Study of the SENTIPAT Multicenter Randomized Controlled Trial

Several randomized trials compared the SF-36 scores issued from different administration modes, such as paper versus the internet [13-17] or telephone versus paper [18-26]. Telephone interview is a common mode of questionnaire administration for several reasons, including the potential to increase response rate [24-26], practical convenience if other data of the study are already being collected via telephone, and exploring Qo L in some special populations such as older patients.

Utility of a Telephone Triage Hotline in Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic: Longitudinal Observational Study

Utility of a Telephone Triage Hotline in Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic: Longitudinal Observational Study

One approach to managing increased patient volumes during a pandemic involves the implementation of telephone-based triage systems. Triage and evaluation phone lines established during previous pandemics were found to be cost-effective methods for prioritizing acute care resources for symptomatic patients with risk factors for serious disease in overburdened hospital systems [9-11].

Effectiveness and Acceptance of Technology-Based Psychological Interventions for the Acute Treatment of Unipolar Depression: Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

Effectiveness and Acceptance of Technology-Based Psychological Interventions for the Acute Treatment of Unipolar Depression: Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

Concerning the applied technical medium, most TBIs were delivered via the internet (55/101, 54.5%), followed by telephone (12/101, 11.9%), offline computer programs (8/101, 7.9%), and videoconferencing tools (3/101, 3.0%). Additionally, 22.8% (23/101) of interventions applied more than one technical medium (internet-based treatment plus telephone support was most frequently [17/101, 16.8%] combined).
