Co-Designing a User-Centered Digital Health Tool for Supportive Care Needs of Patients With Brain Tumors and Their Caregivers: Interview Analysis

When asked about telehealth, all patients and caregivers reported having used telehealth and found it time-saving and convenient. However, for important appointments, a face-to-face conversation was preferred. Patients and caregivers expressed the need for social connectedness and suggested these may be met by a digital platform.

Developing a Dyadic Immersive Virtual Environment Technology Intervention for Persons Living With Dementia and Their Caregivers: Multiphasic User-Centered Design Study

Indeed, relationships and the emotional health needs of persons living with dementia and caregivers often change throughout the course of dementia, especially in advanced stages, as cognitive and communication limitations are more common [4,12]. However, despite changes, the need for positive experiences shared between persons living with dementia and caregivers remains common and relates to fewer behavioral and psychiatric symptoms among persons living with dementia and less stress among caregivers [13].

Examining the Effects of the Protection Motivation Theory–Based Online Intervention on Improving the Cognitive Behavioral Outcomes of Caregivers of Children With Atopic Diseases: Quasi-Experimental Study

The primary aim of this study was to conduct a quasi-experimental study to evaluate the effects of a 4-week PMT-based cognitive behavioral online (PMT-CBO intervention) in improving caregivers’ engagement in managing their children’s atopic diseases. Specifically, this study sought to determine the extent to which the intervention improves caregivers’ protection motivation, intentions, and behaviors.

Evaluation of Large Language Models in Tailoring Educational Content for Cancer Survivors and Their Caregivers: Quality Analysis

Also, cancer survivors and their caregivers, already overwhelmed by treatment, often lack the time to read lengthy content. Therefore, it is essential to provide educational content in multiple languages and in concise content to ensure effective communication and education [40]. To address these gaps, our team aimed to evaluate how LLMs perform in tailoring educational content to enhance accessibility and comprehension for cancer survivors and their caregivers.

Videoconference-Delivered Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Family Caregivers of People With Dementia: Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

Most of these caregivers are adult children caring for their parents, with spouses making up the next largest group [1]. These family caregivers provide critical support for individuals with ADRD, helping their relatives age in place [2,3]. Therefore, maintaining these caregivers’ health is imperative; however, they face significant unmet mental health needs [4].

Vaccine Hesitancy and Associated Factors Among Caregivers of Children With Special Health Care Needs in the COVID-19 Era in China: Cross-Sectional Study

Therefore, we conducted this retrospective study to investigate the attitudes toward vaccines among caregivers of children with special health care needs and evaluate the changes in caregivers’ hesitancy toward vaccines before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, we also aimed to identify associated factors, including the stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, for caregivers’ attitudes toward NIP and non-NIP vaccines.
