Telebehavioral Health for Caregivers of Children With Behavioral Health Needs to Address Caregiver Strain: Cohort Study

Telebehavioral Health for Caregivers of Children With Behavioral Health Needs to Address Caregiver Strain: Cohort Study

The adults who care for these children are at risk for 2 types of caregiver strain, that are (1) an objective strain, that results directly from the child’s condition (eg, disrupted family relationships, financial strain, and interruptions at work) and (2) subjective strain, that arises from the caregiver’s feelings regarding these events (eg, guilt, anger, and sadness) [5].

Preliminary Validity and Acceptability of Motion Tape for Measuring Low Back Movement: Mixed Methods Study

Preliminary Validity and Acceptability of Motion Tape for Measuring Low Back Movement: Mixed Methods Study

MT has strain sensing due to piezoresistive properties of the integrated nanosheets in the tape [46], described in equation 1, which gives the direct relationship between measured resistance and strain. From previous research, MT has shown stable performance under cyclic strains [46,47]. In equation 1, R is the resistance; K is the constant of proportionality, or gauge factor; and ε is the strain.

Patient-Reported Outcomes in a Nationally Representative Sample of Older Internet Users: Cross-sectional Survey

Thus, research increasingly points to the need to examine the moderating role of the e Health literacy on patient-physician dynamics, including interpersonal tensions and strain that might stem from consuming either too much or irrelevant information or locating erroneous information from noncredible websites [3,27,41].

Moderation of the Stressor-Strain Process in Interns by Heart Rate Variability Measured With a Wearable and Smartphone App: Within-Subject Design Using Continuous Monitoring

Moderation of the Stressor-Strain Process in Interns by Heart Rate Variability Measured With a Wearable and Smartphone App: Within-Subject Design Using Continuous Monitoring

During a resilient process, the aforementioned loss spiral is prevented by using resources to adaptively cope with demands and stress to limit long-term strain and its related negative consequences on health and well-being from developing [23]. Resilience is therefore an ongoing process that influences the extent to which adverse events that occur on a small timescale have an impact on mid- to long-term health outcomes.

Authors’ Response to Peer Reviews of “Emergence of the First Strains of SARS-CoV-2 Lineage B.1.1.7 in Romania: Genomic Analysis”

Authors’ Response to Peer Reviews of “Emergence of the First Strains of SARS-CoV-2 Lineage B.1.1.7 in Romania: Genomic Analysis”

Among the 20 samples, one—later referred to as EPI_ISL_869241 (Suceava)—was carrying the new UK strain. The other four samples presented in the Results section were sequenced by other laboratories in the country, so there is no connection with the 20 samples sequenced by us. Information regarding the travel history of the patients was added, where appropriate. Sample collection dates were added to the table in Multimedia Appendix 1. 2.

Emergence of the First Strains of SARS-CoV-2 Lineage B.1.1.7 in Romania: Genomic Analysis

Emergence of the First Strains of SARS-CoV-2 Lineage B.1.1.7 in Romania: Genomic Analysis

On January 8, 2021, Romania confirmed the first case of COVID-19 infection with the new strain, in a patient from Giurgiu (in South-East Romania) without a history of travel to the United Kingdom or contact with individuals from the United Kingdom. On January 22, 2021, two additional individuals from Bucharest were identified to have the new strain. They reported no travel history, were in good clinical condition, and were isolated at home under the supervision of a family physician.

Identifying Myocardial Infarction Using Hierarchical Template Matching–Based Myocardial Strain: Algorithm Development and Usability Study

Identifying Myocardial Infarction Using Hierarchical Template Matching–Based Myocardial Strain: Algorithm Development and Usability Study

Flowchart of the proposed applied method to identify infarcted LV segments using circumferential strain values. Here, Hhealthy_same could be Hhealthy_basal or Hhealthy_mid or Hhealthy_apical. HA: American Heart Association; CS: circumferential strain; EScalculated: median of calculated circumferential strain values at the end-systolic frame; ESliterature: median of literature referred circumferential strain values at the end-systolic frame; LV: left ventricular or left ventricle.

Isolating SARS-CoV-2 Strains From Countries in the Same Meridian: Genome Evolutionary Analysis

Isolating SARS-CoV-2 Strains From Countries in the Same Meridian: Genome Evolutionary Analysis

For example, an Indian strain showed a mutation in the spike glycoprotein at R408 I and in the replicase polyprotein at I671 T, P2144 S, and A2798 V, whereas the spike protein of Spain and South Korean strains carried an F797 C and a S221 W mutation, respectively [27]. Moreover, recently conducted integrative analyses of SARS-Co V-2 genomes of strains from different geographical locations reveal unique features that are potentially consequential to host-virus interaction and pathogenesis [28].
