Implementation of Medication-Related Technology and Its Impact on Pharmacy Workflow: Real-World Evidence Usability Study

Implementation of Medication-Related Technology and Its Impact on Pharmacy Workflow: Real-World Evidence Usability Study

Dispensing errors often precede administration errors, highlighting the critical role of the pharmacy in preventing medication errors. Estimates of medication errors vary significantly across different regions within the prescription (10%-39%), dispensing (11%-40%), and administration (10.5%-38%) stages of medication management. Feasibility, Acceptability, and Potential Effects of a Digital Oral Anticancer Agent Intervention: Protocol for a Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

The potential effects of the intervention (aim 3) will be assessed by comparing experimental and control groups over time, from baseline, every 2 weeks (depending on the outcome), and after the intervention in terms of the following outcomes: medication adherence SE, medication adherence (self-report and pharmacy records), and symptom distress. Recruitment rate Calculated by dividing the total number of participants recruited throughout the study by the number of months recruitment occurred.
