Multidisciplinary Design–Based Multimodal Virtual Reality Simulation in Nursing Education: Mixed Methods Study

Principle of simple-to-complex process: The modules were structured to align with the sequential order of patient care from admission to discharge, ensuring that activities are carried out in a systematic and sequential manner. Principle of virtual recognition: To enhance the learner’s sense of presence and awareness of activity direction in the VR space, the simulation modules were designed to display the learner’s hands or body parts on the screen.

Refining Cultural Adaptations of a Behavioral Intervention for Latino Caregivers of People Living With Dementia: Qualitative Interview Study in Washington State

To address the gap in the lack of culturally appropriate evidence-based interventions for Latino caregivers, we sought to culturally adapt the content of the web-based training modules of the STAR-C virtual intervention for Latino caregivers. In our previous study, we identified what cultural adaptations to the STAR-C web-based training modules are needed for Latino caregivers and we designed preliminary adaptations [14].

Efficacy of Adolescent Suicide Prevention E-Learning Modules for Gatekeepers: A Randomized Controlled Trial

Efficacy of Adolescent Suicide Prevention E-Learning Modules for Gatekeepers: A Randomized Controlled Trial

The results of this review highlighted the need for research, especially RCTs, on the efficacy of educational suicide prevention e-learning modules for gatekeepers [24]. In 2011, VU University in Amsterdam started a program entitled Mental Health Online (MHO), with an aim to develop adolescent suicide prevention e-learning modules for gatekeepers and to test the efficacy of these modules [25].
