The Flourishing Scale (FS) developed by Diener et al [35] is an 8-item measure of positive human functioning. It assesses aspects of flourishing, including positive relationships, feelings of competence, a sense of meaning and purpose in life, and engagement in daily activities. Participants rate each statement on a 7-point scale, ranging from 1 (strongly disagree) to 7 (strongly agree). Total scores can range from 8 to 56, with higher scores indicating greater well-being.
