A screen-based simulator (NRP e Sim), designed by Laerdal Medical in collaboration with the American Academy of Pediatrics is included in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program as one of the six educational components of the 7th edition of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program training program [7]. In the neonatal resuscitation context, technical skills refer to diagnostic and therapeutic actions, whereas nontechnical skills include leadership, teamwork, communication, and task management.

Intervention characteristics were also documented, focusing on the type of AR platform used (eg, Holo Lens, Vuzix, and Google Glasses) and the intervention context (real-time clinical support or educational training). Secondary outcome measures like user experience, technology acceptance, workload, and the occurrence of simulator sickness were also analyzed. No assumptions were made about missing or unclear data, and any such data were marked as “not reported.”

This highlights the crucial role of health literacy as a determinant of obesity prevalence and the importance of tailored educational interventions.

To evaluate the effectiveness of this tool for chronic hand and foot eczema, we conducted an interventional study comparing a control group (without the app or educational program) with an intervention group over a 60-week period. Interim results from a 24-week analysis already showed an improvement in quality of life [10].

We developed and alpha tested an educational website designed to inform patients with cancer and underlying autoimmune diseases who are considering ICBs and to facilitate patient-provider discussions.
We followed a user-centered approach to develop and test our website [14]. Our study process, depicted in Figure 1, involved 3 main sequential phases: identification of learning topics, website development, and user testing.
Study design.

Educational strategies for teaching CPR in limited-income countries have focused on health care professionals and students [8], not schoolchildren, highlighting a significant gap in the literature. This is the first SG developed in Brazil in Portuguese for schoolchildren.
Our study has some limitations. First, we had a small sample size due to insufficient data to calculate sample size in usability tests and financial constraints in contracting a software house.

The pandemic induced severe educational and social changes, including social distancing and modifications in learning environments, which triggered a decline in mental health in schools. New COVID-19 protocols increased anxiety among both students and staff, and the return to school posed significant challenges. In addition, many individuals’ preexisting mental health conditions deteriorated due to a lack of access to appropriate services [43].

The educational intervention significantly improved participants’ knowledge of osteoporosis; the median knowledge score increased from 40.6% (IQR 31.3%-46.9%) in the pretest to 71.9% (IQR 53.9%-81.3%) in the posttest (P
Table 3 presents the percentages of correct and incorrect responses (“False” or “Do not know”) before and after exposure to the educational materials. Significant improvements were observed across all knowledge domains.

Survey items were a mix of Likert, closed-ended, and open-ended questions including demographic questions and questions about educational experience, instructional methods, satisfaction and effectiveness of technologies and educational methods, and preparedness to provide virtual care. Surveys were distributed securely online using Qualtrics (Qualtrics International Inc), and students were recruited via university email, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook [12,13].
