Sources of demotivation to engage with digital health interventions.a a Data represents a count of responses, not participants. Apathy toward continuing was identified in focus groups with both adolescents (5 responses) and children (2 responses). Children described apathy in terms of “can’t be bothered” or “you don’t want to do it,” while adolescents used the term “motivation” and reflected on a sense of disregard for the program. And then just again…. Just my own motivation, how much I’d care.
