Digital Technology and Media Use by Adolescents: Latent Class Analysis

We used two-tailed independent sample t tests to compare whether the adherent and nonadherent participants differed on demographic data such as age, gender, race, sexual orientation, parental income, and geographical location and whether they had watched the previous seasons of the show. We found no differences between the 2 groups except for race (χ24=11.5; P=.02), with Asian and mixed-race participants oversampling in nonadherence.
