Strategies to Increase Latino Immigrant Youth Engagement in Health Promotion Using Social Media: Mixed-Methods Study

A recent study by Cleary and colleagues estimated that, among adolescent Latinos aged 12 to 17 years, 66% were recently arrived immigrants, having lived in the United States for 3 years or less, with a large representation from El Salvador (46.53%), Guatemala (32.86%), and Honduras (10.41%; SC, unpublished data, 2017).
