Alcohol use episodes will be detected using the criteria developed by Barnett et al [83] and using software that processes the sensor data accordingly [84]. In the A+SM and A+SM+F conditions, participants will complete the Drinking Self-Monitoring Log, a standardized, validated methodology for measuring drinking on a daily or drink-by-drink basis [85].
