The industry partner, Luke Wilson of Mighty Immersion Inc [39], provided an overview of the design-thinking framework used to build the VR program developed specifically for pediatric pain rehabilitation treatment centers, Fruity Feet, which is currently being implemented at Stanford, CCHMC, and Sick Kids (Figure 1). In addition to targeted software experiences, we identified additional tools crucial to the successful implementation of VR interventions in patient care settings.
