As a widely discussed topic in women’s health, pregnancy is an important phase of women’s lives, a period in which women experience biological changes and gain a new identity at the same time [1]. Importantly, pregnancy is often accompanied by various complications. According to the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association [2], pregnancy complications occurred in 1 in 5 pregnancies among prospective mothers aged 18 to 44 years (2014-2018).
