Perceptions of Visualizing Physical Activity as a 3D-Printed Object: Formative Study

Adults expressed that the tactile forms of information would interest youths and encourage them to purposely think about the importance of physical activity, as previously identified by Mackintosh et al [18]. Furthermore, they also believed that the 3 D models could act as a material reward or medal representing achieved physical activity: [something children and adolescents] could put [the models] up on their wall when they get them.
