So it was quite a shock, because I never really thought, well, I went in with a sore stomach and came out with cancer! It’s a bit of a strange scenario. So...yeah, it was a little bit daunting. YAs’ narratives revealed the different aspects of their lives disrupted by their cancer diagnosis, including relationships with friends and family, school and university, work, finances and planned holidays, and life experiences.
