Informal Caregivers’ Use of Internet-Based Health Resources: An Analysis of the Health Information National Trends Survey

Caregivers most commonly reported spending ≥5 hours/week providing care to the care recipient(s) (228/391, 58.3%). Table 2 provides detailed descriptions of participating caregivers’ internet use variables. Most caregivers indicated that they had used the internet (303/391, 77.5%); of these, most reported that they accessed the internet from a computer at home (267/391, 88.1%) and/or a mobile device (252/391, 83.2%).
