All 2113 medical records from the dataset of live or stillborn infants delivered between October 2016, and September 2017, at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Brazil were included. The institutional review boards approved the research protocol (number: CAAE 10286913.3.0000.5149), dismissing individual written informed consent.
For the analysis, the database was organized into groups based on ultrasonography reference used by obstetricians to assist in determining GA.
