Combined Clinical Audits and Low-Dose, High-frequency, In-service Training of Health Care Providers and Community Health Workers to Improve Maternal and Newborn Health in Mali: Protocol for a Pragmatic Cluster Randomized Trial

It is defined as the sum of fetal deaths (stillbirth), defined as the death of a fetus weighing 500 g or more, or of 22 weeks of gestation or more, occurring in health facilities, and early neonatal death, namely, the death of a live born within the first 7 days of life occurring in the facility or in the community.
