Bayesian ordinal probit regressions were used to compare Likert-scale responses using the MCMCoprobit and HPDinterval functions in the R packages MCMCpack [34] and Coda [35], respectively. This method compares Likert items by assuming there are latent normally distributed continuous variables underlying the ordinal responses. These latent variables are then segmented into ordinal Likert responses by the number of response options minus one as thresholds.
