Mobile-Based Nutrition Counseling and Unconditional Cash Transfers for Improving Maternal and Child Nutrition in Bangladesh: Pilot Study

I have learnt that my “abu” (grandchild) requires more nutritious food. It is important that we give him green leafy vegetables, chicken liver, khichuri (rice and lentil mixture). We didn’t know much about the importance of these foods. Our findings revealed widespread cooperation from the participating women’s husbands, who contributed to the decision-making regarding the spending of the money. No women reported any problems in using the money as they intended.
