School-Partnered Collaborative Care (SPACE) for Pediatric Type 1 Diabetes: Development and Usability Study of a Virtual Intervention With Multisystem Community Partners

School-Partnered Collaborative Care (SPACE) for Pediatric Type 1 Diabetes: Development and Usability Study of a Virtual Intervention With Multisystem Community Partners

Lyon et al [25] proposed key modifications to fit a CCM for the school setting for mental health care, including basing a care manager in school, allowing for flexible entry and treatments for a variety of mental health diagnoses, defining success both academically and medically, and incorporating school-wide supports. We carried these ideas forward to our school adaptation for type 1 diabetes.

Harnessing Human-Centered Design for Evidence-Based Psychosocial Interventions and Implementation Strategies in Community Settings: Protocol for Redesign to Improve Usability, Engagement, and Appropriateness

Harnessing Human-Centered Design for Evidence-Based Psychosocial Interventions and Implementation Strategies in Community Settings: Protocol for Redesign to Improve Usability, Engagement, and Appropriateness

IAM is a 4-item survey and the leading instrument for measuring clinical intervention and implementation strategy contextual fit with good internal consistency (Cronbach α=0.87) and adequate test-retest reliability (r=0.73). The goodness-of-fit interview is particularly well-suited to probe on clinical intervention and implementation strategy appropriateness issues identified through IAM. We will use content analysis to analyze goodness-of-fit interview data.

Usability Issues in Evidence-Based Psychosocial Interventions and Implementation Strategies: Cross-project Analysis

Usability Issues in Evidence-Based Psychosocial Interventions and Implementation Strategies: Cross-project Analysis

Most relevant to our work, Lyon and Koerner [13] proposed preliminary heuristics for the implementability of EBPIs. These heuristics are commonly taught for use in a process known as heuristic evaluation [78], in which experts in user research or design use them to review a prototype or product and identify potential problems. Practitioners also develop familiarity with common sets of heuristics or those specific to the domain in which they work and use them to guide design and not only evaluate it.

Measuring the Implementation of Behavioral Intervention Technologies: Recharacterization of Established Outcomes

Measuring the Implementation of Behavioral Intervention Technologies: Recharacterization of Established Outcomes

use Process: passive data collection of BIT use [35] Gilbody et al (2016): to measure consumer-level adoption, log-in records were used to identify number of participants who accessed programs [22] Perceived fit, relevance, or compatibility of the evidence-based practice to a given context Individual provider, consumer, or administrator Organization Objective: assessment of perceived BIT fit with the context Process: survey, interview, focus group, direct observation usability testing, and workflow studies Lyon

Impact of a Web-Based Electronic Health Record on Behavioral Health Service Delivery for Children and Adolescents: Randomized Controlled Trial

Impact of a Web-Based Electronic Health Record on Behavioral Health Service Delivery for Children and Adolescents: Randomized Controlled Trial

The SAAS was adapted from existing measures of intervention and HIT acceptability, including the Usage Rating Profile Intervention [46], Treatment Acceptability Rating Form-Revised (TARF-R) [47], and Intervention Rating Profile-15 [48]. Versions of the SAAS have been shown to possess acceptable technical adequacy (alpha>.70) and criterion-related validity [49]. Four measures focused on provider workflow and behaviors.
