Ethical approval was granted by the Northern B Health and Disability Ethics Committee (reference 20222 FULL 12734). Before commencement, the study was registered on the Australian New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry (ACTRN12622001140741p). All participants were required to date and sign an informed consent before participating in the study.
Enrollment into the study began in December 2022 and was completed in September 2023.

Mean relative error (MRE; A) and mean error (B) of the distance estimates from the single wearable device, and distance and median walking speed from the reference system (RS; C) for each participant for all walking bouts (WBs; red), WBs of >10 seconds (blue) and >30 seconds (green).
