Exploring Service Users’ Experiences of a Community-Based Intervention to Improve Follow-Up at Bharatpur Eye Hospital in Nepal: Qualitative Study

Exploring Service Users’ Experiences of a Community-Based Intervention to Improve Follow-Up at Bharatpur Eye Hospital in Nepal: Qualitative Study

One of the studies has shown that SMS text messaging reminders significantly improved follow-up adherence in pediatric cataract treatment compared to the control group [6]. A quasi-experimental study was carried out in Nepal by the BEH team to find the effectiveness of follow-up interventions, particularly counseling with the provision of information leaflets and reminders through phone calls and text messages to improve the follow-up rates in comparison to the existing standard care.

Efficient Online Recruitment of Patients With Depressive Symptoms Using Social Media: Cross-Sectional Observational Study

Efficient Online Recruitment of Patients With Depressive Symptoms Using Social Media: Cross-Sectional Observational Study

However, recruiting the required number of patients for the Su Pr-X validation study proved to be a significant obstacle. In medical and psychological research, generating valid study results by collecting data from large representative samples is essential [13]. For many research teams, recruiting the number of participants needed on time and within budget limitations becomes a major challenge [14].

Mobile Therapeutic Attention for Treatment-Resistant Schizophrenia (m-RESIST) Solution for Improving Clinical and Functional Outcomes in Treatment-Resistant Schizophrenia: Prospective, Multicenter Efficacy Study

Mobile Therapeutic Attention for Treatment-Resistant Schizophrenia (m-RESIST) Solution for Improving Clinical and Functional Outcomes in Treatment-Resistant Schizophrenia: Prospective, Multicenter Efficacy Study

The positive acceptance of the m-RESIST solution was related to its usefulness in meeting user needs, its capacity to empower them, and its possibility of maintaining human contact [63]. The only m Health study performed in those with TRS indicated that the m-RESIST solution is feasible and is an acceptable, satisfactory, and potentially useful tool for a population with TRS [65].

Machine Learning Model for Predicting Coronary Heart Disease Risk: Development and Validation Using Insights From a Japanese Population–Based Study

Machine Learning Model for Predicting Coronary Heart Disease Risk: Development and Validation Using Insights From a Japanese Population–Based Study

For example, a study developed and validated a coronary artery disease–predictive ML model using electronic health records and assessed its probabilities as in silico scores for coronary artery disease in participants in 2 longitudinal biobank cohorts [12]. Another study applied an ensemble ML model for coronary disease prediction, using ML classifiers to predict heart disease [13].

Effect of Early Treatment of Spasticity After Stroke on Motor Recovery: Protocol for the Baclotox Multicenter, Double-Blind, Double-Dummy Randomized Controlled Trial

Effect of Early Treatment of Spasticity After Stroke on Motor Recovery: Protocol for the Baclotox Multicenter, Double-Blind, Double-Dummy Randomized Controlled Trial

Because of the different modes of administration of these treatments, each group receives both an injection and oral tablets. The study therefore comprises three arms: (1) a “toxin” group treated with an injection of botulinum toxin and placebo oral baclofen; (2) a “baclofen” group treated with oral baclofen and an injection of placebo botulinum toxin; and (3) a double “placebo” group treated with placebo oral baclofen and an injection of placebo botulinum toxin.
