Young people around the world report high levels of climate change concern [17], with higher levels of eco-anxiety observed in young people than in older age groups [18-21]. These high rates of eco-anxiety are also related to distress and poor mental health in children [22,23].

One expert (ID8) who has worked on the adaptation of an e Health training for young carers in the United Kingdom said: “Our adaptation came about through a recommendation from our funders.”
One consistent theme that arose when justifying their adaptations was the provision of equal access. It was described as making digital health resources available to people who are expected to benefit but tend to be medically underserved and would not be reached otherwise.

Breath-Focused Mindfulness and Compassion Training in Parent-Child Dyads: Pilot Intervention Study
Another study demonstrated that Cognitively-Based Compassion Training in parents significantly reduced stress cortisol levels in their infants and young children [31]. Furthermore, many school-based mindfulness interventions have been introduced to enhance well-being in children, and such programs have grown rapidly since the pandemic [30,34,35].
