Assessing Postoperative Pain in Patients Who Underwent Total Knee Arthroplasty Using an Automated Self-Logging Patient-Reported Outcome Measure Collection Device: Retrospective Cohort Study

In correlating the VAS with 24-hour postoperative mean pain scores, there was a very low correlation (r=0.139) and an extremely low correlation with maximum pain score 24 hours postoperatively (r=0.078). This indicates that preoperative and postoperative pain were not correlated.
