A Multipronged, Community-Partnered Intervention (The TALK) to Improve Parent-Adolescent Communication About Sexual Health and Racial Discrimination Among Black Male Adolescents and Young Adults and Their Caregivers: Protocol for a Feasibility and Acceptability Study

A representative group of fathers and mothers (n=60) along with their sons (n=60) will be recruited and engaged in The TALK intervention. The inclusion criteria for the study includes being a father (defined as biological father, stepfather, father figure, or father of an adopted son) or mother (defined as biological mother, stepmother, mother figure, or mother of an adopted son) of an adolescent son who identifies as Black/African American descent between the ages of 10 and 17 years.

Enhancing Quality of Life in Patients With Hypothyroidism Using a Scientific Yoga Module: Randomized Controlled Trial

The cohort of 134 patients with hypothyroidism joined the sessions from different geographical locations in India, including Andhra Pradesh (n=10, 7.5%), Gujarat (n=13, 9.7%), Karnataka (n=32, 23.9%), Madhya Pradesh (n=9, 6.7%), Maharashtra (n=22, 16.4%), New Delhi (n=22, 16.4%), Tamil Nadu (n=15, 11.2%), and West Bengal (n=11, 8.2%).

The main features of the apps and EMR/EHR systems can be categorized as tracking or recording health data (n=19), app data integrated into EMR/EHR systems (n=19), app data being summarized or presented on EMR/EHR interface (n=19), communicating with the health care team (n=12), providing reminders or alerts (n=10), synchronizing with other apps or devices such as “wearables” (n=8), offering educational resources (n=4), and using existing portal credentials to app access (n=2) (Multimedia Appendix 3).
